Beautiful faceted ovals, very finely cut by hand. Excellent natural colour to these peridot beads. The beads on this strand measure between 4x5mm and 4x7mm approximately.

Peridot is a gem-quality variety of olivine and is an idiochromatic gem. Peridot is one of the few gemstones that occur in only one color, an olive green. How much iron is in the stone affects the intensity of the green.
