A quiet breath of the forest floor. Resin-rich pine boughs, still cool from the shade, mingle with the deep, aromatic scent of juniper bushes bowed under the weight of ink‑black berries. Earthy, green and softly wild. A fragrance that feels like stepping into the hush of an ancient woodland. The candles in the Abbaye collection are 210g and fragranced using essential oils and the finest perfume oils producing a wonderful aroma in the home. The wax is a blend of rapeseed and mineral wax which burns cleanly and evenly. All the packaging is recyclable, and we would urge you to do this.

This collection draws its inspiration from a 12th‑century Cistercian abbey in Picardy and from the natural beauty of the French countryside. The abbey, breathtaking in its simplicity was designed to capture light at specific times of day, creating a spiritual atmosphere that lifted the mind “from the material to the divine” The hand‑painted packaging features an illustration of ‘fumaria officinalis’, with tiny pen‑and‑ink insects, reminiscent of a sketchbook from a Grand Tour travel journal. Created by a Suffolk artist, the artwork reflects the collection’s gentle, historic character.
