Absolutely lovely natural, glossy Red Jasper ovals measuring around 10x7mm with some slight variation, around 38 beads to a strand.

Jasper is an opaque stone and can appear in virtually any colour, with red jasper being caused by iron inclusions in the stone. Our red jasper has quite uniform colour but you will see other markings natural to the stone in some examples where the stone is described as brecciated.
