This elaborate print features ornately framed portraits of family dogs, rococo side chairs, humped back sofas, ornate bouquets influenced by floral designer Constance Spry and gilt pier glasses in the Chinoiserie taste. All elements combine to create a whimsical pattern.

In developing this design Rory Hutton drew on his collection of sketchbooks where he has recorded details from visits to stately homes and auction houses over many years. The Chinese Chippendale hall chairs which can be seen in the four corners of the Pink Drawing Room Scarf were inspired by those seen at Kenwood House, Hampstead Heath.

The designers signature lino cut prints have a lively and characterful appearance with many playful hidden details to delight.
