Labradorite Faceted Oval Beads 15" Strand
The photograph does not even begin to come close to doing justice to the beauty of the bright, extensive flashes on these hand cut faceted ovals. They have amazing flashes. Beads meassure around 8-10mm by 6-7mm, and there are around 49 beads on a strand.
Labradorite is a feldspar mineral. It is named for the part of Canada in which it originated, although it is found elsewhere. The labradorescence, or schiller effect, is what gives this stone its dazzling array of colours and shine.
